The lifespan of piston components is significantly affected by engine oil quality and fuel cleanliness.
It is recommended to check the piston ring clearance every 500 hours. If it exceeds 0.25mm, the piston should be replaced. If excessive carbon buildup is found on the piston crown, the combustion chamber should be cleaned and the fuel injector atomization checked.
When replacing components, the cylinder liner wear should also be checked. If the cylindricity exceeds 0.05mm, the cylinder liner should be replaced to maintain sealing.
For equipment that has been parked for a long time, manually rotate the engine several times before starting to prevent piston ring sticking and cylinder scoring.
